Repair services

Engineering services we can provide include: generation or modification of electrical control schematics (ACAD), PLC programming in SYSdev or other major PLC languages (i.e. Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens-TI, etc), operator interface programming for most major platforms (Allen-Bradley, CTC, etc), and PC programming in Visual Basic, C, C++. With a broad background in a wide variety of different control systems and applications, we can easily integrate any of our upgrade packages into an existing system or modify one of our complete systems to meet your requirements. Engineering services are billed either by the hour or we can provide a fixed rate quotation.

Worldwide on-site field service can be provided for assistance in installation and start-up of any of the upgrade packages or complete control systems. This includes overseeing the initial installation with on-site contractors, power-up, system set-up and verification. On-site process trouble-shooting as well as plant audits by one of our qualified field service engineers is also available at our standard field service rates or by contract. Field service is billed at an on-site hourly rate, travel time hourly rate, plus all travel expenses.

Customized factory training can be provided for the M4500 product line, HSM/HSL upgrade packages, or complete control systems. Classes of up to eight people can be tailored to subjects of customer interest. Factory training classes general range from one to three days in length. Factory training is individually quoted based on the size and subjects to be covered. On-site training can also be provided, either in conjunction with an installation/start-up, or as a separate on-site training class. As with factory training, classes are customized to the subjects pertinent to the user. On-site training is billed at our normal on-site field service hourly rate, travel time hourly rate, plus all travel expenses.

All boards, modules, and power supplies of the M4500 and M200 product lines manufactured by Systems Electronics Group will be considered free of defects when operated under normal operating conditions for a period of two years from the date of shipment and will be repaired at no charge. This warranty covers parts and labor to repair the product only. All shipping and consequential charges are the responsibility of the customer. As always, units which have been modified, subjected to abuse or attempted to be repaired will not be covered under warranty.

Products out of warranty can be repaired at the base rate of $100 plus the cost of parts. For out of warranty products which pass testing and do not require repair, an evaluation charge of $75 will be assessed.

An RMA or other return authorization is not required to return a unit for repair. Simply pack the product to be returned using anti-static packaging material and ship prepaid to the following address:
